A teen recovering from a stab wound has been charged along with three others in connection with a Monday burglary spree.

The 16-year-old male, whose name has not been released by authorities because of his juvenile status, is believed to have taken part in two burglaries in northern Hall County.

One took place on Ledan Road and another happened on Ladd Drive.

Jewelry and home electronics were stolen in the Monday morning burglaries, Hall County Sheriff’s Col. Jeff Strickland said.

The teen, an alleged member of the Mexican Vatos Society street gang, underwent surgery for a knife wound to the abdomen he claimed to have suffered during a confrontation with rival gang members, authorities said.

He remains in stable condition at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A 15-year-old who was with the teen Monday when he and two others called an ambulance to QuikTrip on U.S. 129 has also been charged with burglary.

His name is also not being released because of his age.

The other two people charged in the burglaries were identified as 21-year-old Jessica Florres of Gainesville and 17-year-old Antonio Davilla-Pation.

Hall County Sheriff’s Col. Jeff Strickland said investigators recovered most of the stolen items in a sports utility vehicle the four were in that was hidden behind a Browns Bridge Road business.

The assailant who stabbed the teen has not yet been charged with the assault or identified.

The foursome claimed the stabbing occurred before 1 p.m. Monday in a confrontation with members of rival gang La Onda at a location on Bob Bryant Road.

The windows of their SUV were broken out with ball bats, Strickland said.

Florres also faces charges of possession of marijuana and the narcotic hydrocodone.
