A man working at a Dawsonville Highway auto shop was killed today when a car rolled on top of him, according to Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Deputy Nicole Bailes. The man, whose name is being withheld until next of kin is notified, was assisting a customer at VW Parts and Imports at 2040 Dawsonville Highway, Bailes wrote in an email. After supposedly slipping out of gear, a car sitting on a slight grade rolled on top of the victim, who was standing in the driveway.
