Animal lovers throughout the region have come to the aid of a Hall County man who found two of his horses shot in a pasture.Animal lovers are opening their wallets in an attempt to assist law enforcement with the investigation.Last Thursday, Carroll Saxon discovered Rocks, his 14-year-old Tennessee walking horse, dead on his Lula farm. The horse had five gunshot wounds.His 14-year-old quarter horse, Junior, was shot through the neck but survived. “We just went down (to the pasture) to bring them up here to feed them and found (Rocks) laying dead down there,” said Saxon.Saxon’s other horse, Tonto, was not hurt.
