The tale of the two Waffle Houses off Mundy Mill Road in Oakwood, which are only 0.4 of a mile apart, has ended. Waffles will no longer be served 24 hours a day at the location at 3175 Frontage Road in Gainesville, the one closest to McDonald’s and the University of North Georgia Gainesville campus. The Waffle House at 4410 Mundy Mill Road in Oakwood will remain open.
