A water main break has closed one lane of traffic along Ga. 369/Browns Bridge Road at Waldrip Road, one mile from Lake Lanier and the Forsyth County line, and Georgia Department of Transportation officials are warning motorists to take an alternate route.

The closure occurred at 3:30 p.m. Friday. All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 7 p.m. after the damage has been repaired.
