Gee Heating and Air Inc., a family-owned HVAC company in Gainesville is celebrating its 30th birthday.
The business was founded in February 1989 by Joe H. Gee and his son, Tim Gee.
“I am so blessed to see our company celebrate this historic milestone. I never dreamed we would be where we are today. I owe a debt of gratitude to our loyal customers and to God for continuing to bless my family,” said Tim Gee.
In recent years the company has experienced unprecedented growth and expansion of commercial and industrial services, including a refrigeration division.
“My son, Joseph, joined us in 2012, and Jacob came on board in 2014. They have helped to take Gee Heating and Air to the next level,” Tim Gee said.
Joseph’s addition to the company marks the Gee’s third generation of licensed HVAC contractors.
“I am so proud of what my father and grandfather built. My brother, Jacob and I wake up each day excited to build upon our family business’ 30 years of legendary service,” said Operations Manager Joseph Gee.
Joe H. Gee began work in the industry in 1954 as a custom duct builder. In 1969, Joe H. Gee joined with Freeman Willis to open Willis and Gee Heating and Air Conditioning in Gainesville. After several years in business as Willis and Gee, Mr. Willis chose to retire and Joe H. Gee brought in son, Tim Gee, to create Gee Heating and Air.
Gee Heating and Air operates at 2035 Atlas Circle in Gainesville.
