HomeAid Atlanta has named Jim Chapman, founder and CEO of Jim Chapman Communities, as “2017 Builder of the Year.”

Chapman was honored for donating a new, top-of-the-line modular home constructed for the International Builders Show to Family Promise of Hall County in 2017. The home provides transitional housing for families working to rebuild their lives.

HomeAid Atlanta also honored Chapman and his team for providing leadership and resources for the installation and assembly of the home, and for continuing to assist Family Promise with ideas for future transitional housing projects.

HomeAid Atlanta is “a nonprofit organization that builds new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach,” according to a press release announcing the award.
