Oakwood police have identified a suspect in a Jan. 3 robbery by sudden snatching at Wal-Mart, with the suspect allegedly entering the store with a “Jesus Loves You” T-shirt.

Based on tips to Oakwood investigator Danny Sridej, the suspect has been identified as Dushawn Demitries Heath, 25, of Lawrenceville.

Heath and a second unknown man are suspected of entering Wal-Mart around midnight on Jan. 3, grabbing a camouflage jacket, a package of T-shirts and a Sony PlayStation 4.

Surveillance camera video showed two black men, believed to be in their mid-20s with medium builds.

The second suspect exited Wal-Mart with the package of T-shirts as Heath allegedly asked about the gaming system, authorities said. When the cashier and Heath reached the check-out area, Heath allegedly snatched the gaming system and ran out of the store.

Heath is a 30 Deep gang member, Sridej said, who has served prison time “for theft by taking that was reduced from a robbery charge and aggravated assault charge.”

Anyone with information on Heath’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or their local law enforcement agency
