Emergency crews rescued a man who was trapped Tuesday night when a tree fell into the bedroom of his mobile home near Gainesville as strong storms blew through the area. “That gentleman was laying in bed … so that tree basically fell right across his chest,” Hall County Fire Services spokesman Capt. Zachary Brackett said Wednesday morning. The man, whose name was unavailable, was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
