A 15-year-old girl was flown by medical helicopter Saturday afternoon to an Atlanta hospital after a four-wheeler accident in Habersham County.

The girl was riding the vehicle in the area of the 500 block of Owens Circle, near the Habersham Ninth Grade Academy, when the vehicle flipped over, sheriff’s Lt. Matt Wurtz said.

She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Her injuries were serious but not life-threatening, Wurtz said.
