A Gainesville woman on a motorcycle was killed Wednesday night in a Buford wreck, according to Georgia State Patrol. Anita C. Strickland, 59, was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle westbound around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday on Friendship Road/Ga. 347 in the inside lane. Gary Lee Herndon, 79, of Buford, was heading northbound on B.U. Bowman Drive in a Mercedes Benz.
