Davis Middle School in Flowery Branch is seeking more business representatives for its Davis Discovery Career Fair on Oct. 28.

Business and community representatives will come to the school that day from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. to talk with seventh-grade and eighth-grade students about their careers. The event is designed to prepare students for what types of high school courses will lead to the types of future employment opportunities they want to seek.

Students will have a chance to learn from the business representatives about skills, training, salary and other aspects of working in their fields. Community representatives will also be on hand to discuss post-high-school options for students.

The school is located at 4450 Hog Mountain Road in Flowery Branch.
