A Dahlonega man was killed Thursday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle on Ga. 11/Cleveland Highway and was ejected.

James Harry Taylor, 60, was heading north about a mile south of Cleveland when his motorcycle entered the road's east shoulder, said Jared Baker, Georgia State Patrol communication officer.

Baker said Taylor was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center but was pronounced dead from the accident.
