Newsmakers in business: Northeast Ga. Health System chooses 2 new administrators

Northeast Georgia Health System has announced two new administrators.

Elyse Gates was promoted to vice president of the revenue cycle. Gates started with the health system in 2010 as director of patient access. She then became director of patient financial services, and executive director of the revenue cycle. Previously, Gates worked for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she served as patient financial services manager and senior director of patient services. 

She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida.

Mike Hill was promoted to executive director of the program management office.

Hill has more than 20 years of experience implementing enterprise technology and business solutions. Hill graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in management, concentrating on health care and finance.
