Local O’Charley’s employee Ramos earns regional honor

Gainesville O’Charley’s employee Santana Ramos was chosen as the regional winner of the company’s Team Member of the Year award.

Ramos was nominated by her colleagues to be the winner for the Gainesville location and then was chosen as one of four regional winners by the O’Charley’s regional vice president.

She has worked at the Gainesville O’Charley’s location for 14 years and is well-known by regular guests and in the community, earning the nickname “The Face of O’Charley’s” from management.

Ramos has even visited some of her guests in the hospital and invited them to her family holiday celebrations.

Following the local recognition, Ramos has been invited to be part of the O’Charley’s Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn., April 5-7. There she will meet the other three finalists, and the winner for Team Member of the Year will be announced.

Gainesville’s Waller earns Jim French Realtor award

Gainesville resident Ronnie Waller was recently presented with the Jim French Award by the 400 North Board of Realtors.

Waller is a Realtor associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Realty in Cumming.

The award is given to the Realtor “demonstrating professionalism, integrity and true Realtor spirit through the years.”

Waller previously served as president and director of the 400 North Board of Realtors, a state director of the Georgia Association of Realtors and a member of the Professional Standards Board.

He has been active in real estate sales since 1979.

Gainesville’s Right at Home care company earns honor

Right at Home of Gainesville, a franchise location within a leading international in-home care franchise system, has been honored with the Best of Home Care Provider of Choice Award from Home Care Pulse.

Based on client satisfaction scores gathered by Home Care Pulse, Right at Home of Gainesville is now ranked among the top home care providers in the country.
