Katy Wilson, director of bands at Riverside Military Academy is transitioning to a band director position for the Hall County Schools. Her last day will be May 27, upon completion of her sixth year.

When Wilson arrived, there were only 20 cadets in the band, now the band boasts over 100 members and has won numerous accolades. The band program includes a military marching band, three concert bands, three percussion ensembles, the Commanders Jazz Band, the Battalion Bugle Corps, the Grenadiers Rope Drum Line and various other chamber ensembles.

Riverside Military Academy is searching for a new director of bands.
