Chamber seeks Leadership Hall nominations

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for this year’s Leadership Hall County class.

The program has been in place since 1983 to provide a learning experience for existing and emerging leaders. Participants take part in a series of one-day sessions from August through April and learn about the community in such topics as quality of life, education, health and social services, city and state governments, judicial and economic development.

Participants include a cross-section of individuals and must be 25 years old. Tuition is $800 for Chamber members, $970 for nonmembers, which includes a one-year Chamber individual membership. Each participant is responsible for paying the tuition, which covers materials, expenses, the Eggs & Issues Breakfast, annual retreat and a graduation reception. A commitment of 100 percent attendance is required.

Individuals must be nominated by March 15. Once nominated, applicants will be asked to complete detailed applications to be reviewed by a committee to select final participants.

To nomination someone, complete the required form by March 15 and mail or fax it to Leadership Hall County, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 374, Gainesville, GA 30503, fax 770-535-8419. For more information, contact Dana Miller at 770-532-6206,
