Runaway teen, missing since July 4, found safe

Update: Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigators said about 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, Brannen Lee Scroggy was found safely in Hall County.


The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help finding a runaway teen from Flowery Branch. 

Brannon Lee Scroggy, 17, was last seen by family near his home in the area of Oak Ridge Drive on Sunday night, July 4, and a family member reported him missing to the Sheriff’s Office on Friday, July 9. 

Scroggy was last spotted in the areas of Malibu Ridge and Ivy Springs Drive, both near his home. 

Scroggy is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to notify Investigator Ayers at 770-533-7187.
