Be the Hollow Bone: Birds as Signals of Human Well-being, featuring 30 drawings and paintings by Tina Mullen, is currently on display in Sellars Gallery - Simmons Visual Arts Center, 200 Boulevard. Mullen’s work focuses on bird species whose numbers are declining. She depicts many of the birds in proportions representing their estimated remaining populations. -photo submitted by Lybi Cucurullo
