Multiple agencies are searching again this morning for a woman who went missing Wednesday night at Lanier Point Park off Dawsonville Highway.

Sgt. Kevin Holbrook, spokesman for the Gainesville Police Department, said Lizeth Ruby Ruiz, 23, was recreating with a group of friends at the park when she got separated from them. She has not been seen since, Holbrook said.

Authorities searched land and water Thursday at the lakeside complex before suspending the search Wednesday evening. Searches began last night and resumed this morning. Those involved include the police department, fire departments from Gainesville and Hall County, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Natural Resources.

The park has been closed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
