Three Forsyth County men are accused of attacking and robbing a motorist in his car at a northwest Hall intersection.Cody Pierce Copp, 19, Roger William Brumbelow, 24, and David Paul Nance, 24, have been charged with robbery in the Monday incident, said Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks, Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.Deputies responded about 2:30 a.m. to the 2600 block of Dawsonville Highway regarding a robbery report.Upon their arrival, the victim reported that while he was stopped on East Sardis Road at Ga. 53, two men got out of an SUV behind him and approached his vehicle.The two men then assaulted him and took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving.“It’s unclear which one (of the three suspects) was the driver,” Wilbanks said.The victim said he then followed the SUV to a residence on Knight Road in Forsyth County before reporting the crime.Along the way, the victim and suspects “stopped more than once and physically engaged each other,” Wilbanks said.Hall County investigators, accompanied by Forsyth County deputies, went to the residence, where the victim identified the three suspects.Brumbelow and Nance are being held in the Hall County Jail on $15,000 bail. Bond hasn’t been set for Copp, Wilbanks said.The victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment.Wilbanks said the relationship of the three men to each other — such as friends or family — isn’t known, “but they all live on the same road.”Also, the victim has said he doesn’t know the three suspects.The incident started when he pulled out of the parking lot of a gas station at East Sardis and Ga. 53, Wilbanks said.“The SUV came up behind him as he was stopped and waiting to enter the roadway,” he added.
