At least five people were taken into custody following a Tuesday afternoon raid on a Gainesville residence at Brandon Place Apartments off Thompson Bridge Road.

The Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad executed search warrants at the apartment where agents said they'd identified a possible drug distribution place, Lt. Scott Ware said.

Hall County's SWAT team participated in the raid. A pistol, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found, along with at least one explicit cell phone image of a female juvenile, Ware said.

He expected charges to include possession, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and enticing a minor for indecent purposes.

It's the second coordinated sweep by coordinated task forces in a week.

On Feb. 4, MANS agents along with the Gang Task Force and Hall County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested two Atlanta men without incident at the 5800 block of Spout Springs Road as part of another drug investigation.

Antwain Renard Walker, 31, was charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and four counts of reckless conduct. Tony Wilkins, 21, was charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.

They were arrested as they delivered about 20 grams of cocaine in nine baggies to a predetermined location, Ware said, and later booked in Hall County Jail.

Walker's four children were with him at the time of the drug transaction, which resulted in the reckless conduct charges, Ware said.
