Mary Nimocks

Mary Frances Syfan and Joshua Graham Nimocks were united in marriage at 5 p.m. June 5, 2010, at the groom's residence in Fayetteville, N.C. The bride is the daughter of Cynthia Sims Syfan and James Daniel Syfan Sr., both of Gainesville. The groom is the son of David Ray III and Lynne Callahan Nimocks of Fayetteville, N.C.

The Rev. A. Edward Beddingfield Jr. performed the ceremony. Guitarist Danny Infatino presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister-in-law Gerran Gilmer Syfan of Lula and the bride's friend Katie Rackely DeCoudres of Valdosta were matrons of honor. The bride's friend Elizabeth Johnson McHugh of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Eleanor Braxton Wallis of Gainesville, Lyndsey Jean Hurst of Atlanta, Elizabeth Nicholson Speiden of Raleigh, N.C., Ruth Jordan Stedman of Charleston, S.C., and Sarahmarie Cannon Daughtry, the groom's sister-in-law Amanda Lee Nimocks and the bride's friend Veronica Matthews Grannis, all of Fayetteville. Honorary bridesmaids were Kathryn Sherrill Haley, Ashley Jordan Davis and Megan Brewer Gilliken.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brothers David Ray Nimocks IV and Tyler Callahan Nimocks, both of Fayetteville, the bride's brothers James Daniel Syfan Jr. of Lula and David Garrett Syfan of Breckenridge, Colo., the groom's cousins Joseph Paul Beck Jr. of Eugene, Colo., and Oliver Charles Callahan Beck of Raleigh, N.C., the groom's friends Charles Little McBryde Grannis and William Andrew Sebastian Miller, both of Fayetteville and Peter Blackwood Stewart Jr., of Charlotte, N.C.

Bill Pannhoff was the wedding coordinator. The bride wore pearl and diamond earrings given to her by her mother, a six pence that her mother wore in her wedding, a six pence given by a family friend and a friend's veil. She carried a handkerchief given to her by her godmother.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at their residence on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the groom's parent's residence following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Italy, Sardinia, Germany, France, Scotland and England, the couple will reside in Fayetteville.
