Melissa Lea Brady and Jeffery Scott Owen were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 29, 2007, at the Wedding Chapel at the Preserve in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. The bride is the daughter of John and Alesha Brady of Clermont. The groom is the son of Diane Moore of Oakwood and Jessie and Margaret Owen of Oakboro, N.C.

The Rev. David Gaulkner performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's cousin Kimberly Chapman of Talmo was matron of honor. The groom's daughter Casey Pressley of Albemarle, N.C., was maid of honor.

The groom's friend Jason Albert of Cumming was the best man.

Following a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, the couple resides in Gainesville.
