Nicole and Brian Lauderdale

Nicole Lee Beckum and Brian Clifton Lauderdale were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. May 6, 2011, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Mary Beckum of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Dolores Lauderdale and the late Douglas Clifton Lauderdale III of Marietta.

The Rev. Robby Foster performed the ceremony.

Pianist Chris Corso, saxophonist Gene Richards presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Jessica Salcido of Gainesville was matron of honor. The bride's friend Lara Wayne of Flowery Branch was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Candice Cooper of Cumming, Amanda Sheidy and Lindsay Davis of Gainesville, Kayla Williams of Flowery Branch, Ginger Harrison of Powder Springs, and the groom's sisters Melissa Stallings of Douglasville and Mandy Lauderdale of Austin, Texas.

The groom's brother Matthew Lauderdale of Powder Springs was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Creston Warner of Dahlonega, Neil Krock of Lawrenceville, Blake Wayne of Flowery Branch, Joe McCann of Austin, Texas, Michael Whiting of Gainesville, groom's brothers-in-law David Stallings of Douglasville and Tito Salcido of Gainesville.

Jackie Krock was the wedding coordinator.

Bride's bouquet was wrapped in a handkerchief the groom wore at his christening.

The groom wore a handkerchief made from his mother's wedding dress and father's Desert Storm uniform.

The bride, groom and the groom's family gave a rehearsal dinner at Delmar Club in Dacula on the eve of the wedding.

The bride and groom gave a reception at The Braselton Stover House in Braselton following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Rivera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Dacula.
