West Hall High School graduate Zach English received a $2,500 scholarship from the H.O.P.E. Foundation.

English, the former quarterback for the Spartans, was a regular volunteer with the annual Mom’s Dinner hosted by Coach Tony Lotti. Kathy and Lou DiCocco, directors of the nonprofit, presented English with the award. Coach Lotti and the DiCoccos consider English the epitome of the H.O.P.E. Foundation’s core principles as an organization dedicated to helping young people live more positive, inspirational lives. English will use the funds to attend college.
