Joel and Staci Stringer of Clermont announce the engagement of their daughter Kristina Barbara Stringer to Justin Neil Adamson, son of Rodney and Julie Adamson of Alto and Tim Smith of Macon and Tammy Smith of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Glenn and Barbara Bell of Clermont, and Vergia and the late Charles Stringer of Clermont.

She is a 2006 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2009 from Lanier Technology Institute with a degree in practical nursing. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree at North Georgia College in nursing. She is employed at Morningside Assisted Living in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ralph and Linda Smith of Gainesville, and Byron and Joann Adamson of Alto.

He is a 2006 graduate of Banks High School in Homer. He graduated in 2011 from North Georgia College with a bachelor's degree in secondary history education. He is employed by Banks County School System in Homer and WCON Radio Station in Cornelia.

The couple plan to wed Dec. 10, 2011, at Friendship Baptist Church in Cleveland.
