Chip and Debbie Robinson of Buford announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Brooke Robinson to James “Jay” Emile Bates III, son of Jeb and Rosemary Bates of Gainesville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frank and Christine Nichols of Lawrenceville, and the late Curtis and Flora Robinson. She is a 2004 graduate of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee.
