Bobby Ortiz of Hoschton and Tina Sullivan of Clermont announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Leann Ortiz to Jordan Roy Loggins, son of Roy and Shelby Loggins of Alto and Yvonne Sims.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Larry and Linda Ellis of Flowery Branch and the late Daniel and Mary Ortiz.

She is a 2007 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She is employed as a receptionist with Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Virginia Banks of Maysville, the late Larry Sims, Katie Trusty of Auburn and the late Clyde Loggins.

He is a 2006 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. He is pursuing a degree in pre-pharmacy at Gainesville State College in Oakwood. He is employed as an electronics manager with Target in Flowery Branch.

The couple plan an open church wedding for 3 p.m. March 1, 2009, at Liberty Baptist Church in Gillsville.
