Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stephen Nix of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Rachel Kathryn Nix to Mr. Charles Bennett Barry III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bennett Barry Jr. of Mount Pleasant, S.C. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert C. Nix, the late Mr. Donald Gene Dyer and Mrs. Joann M. Dyer of Gainesville. She is a 2005 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2010 from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
