Mike and Sherryl Livingston of Suwanee announce the engagement of their daughter Melissa Anne Livingston to Billy Henry Farr III, son of Lisa and Billy Farr Jr. of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of Myrtis Thomason Shealy and the late Colie
Esthern Shealy of Chapin, S.C., and W.A. Livingston and Mae Livingston of Columbia, S.C.

She is a 2007 graduate of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee. She graduated in 2011 from University of West Georgia with a bachelor's degree in music.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Billy and Patricia Farr of Gainesville, the late Robert Peck of Dahlonega and Herman and Frances Sullens of Murrayville.

He is a 2006 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. He will graduate in 2012 from University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering.

The couple plan to wed June 9, 2012, in Suwanee.
