Mr. and Mrs. Bolling DuBose III of Jefferson announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Lee Atkinson DuBose to Mr. Michael Jordan Economos, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Economos of Atlanta.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reese Mason of Nicholson, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Anton of Jefferson, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Bolling DuBose Jr.

She is a 2002 graduate of Jefferson High School in Jefferson. She graduated in 2007 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and received a master’s degree at Georgia Southern University in kinesiology. She is employed as a third-grade teacher and high school basketball coach with Gordon County school system in Calhoun.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Irene Ylinen of Duluth, Minn., the late Mr. Ivan Ylinen, Mrs. Alice Economos of Columbus, Ohio, and the late Mr. Gus Economos.

He is a 2002 graduate of Marist School in Atlanta. He graduated in 2007 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed as a sales manager with Eagle Rock Distributing in Dalton.

The couple plan to wed July, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Athens.
