Gary and Lynda Buffington of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Maegan Elizabeth Buffington to Michael Gene Gaylor, son of Michael and Gina Gaylor of Jonesboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Buna Buffington of Gainesville, the late Allen Buffington and the late Ben and Willie Mae Butler.

She is a 2005 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She is employed as an assistant manager with Alon's Bakery and Market in Atlanta.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late William Gene and Martha Gaylor.

He is a 2000 graduate of Faith Academy in Atlanta. He is employed as a chef with Grace 1720 in Norcross.

The couple plan to wed Oct 31, 2010, at R Ranch in Dahlonega.
