Dr. and Mrs. Pierpont F. Brown III of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Parrish Woodberry Brown to Mr. Christopher Michael Hoag, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Hoag of Dacula.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lola S. Cunningham of Gainesville, Mr. J. Chapman Cunningham of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich., Mrs. Marilyn W. McCarver of Gainesville, and the late Dr. Pierpont F. Brown Jr.
She is a 2010 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2014 from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree of science in business administration. She is employed as an information technology business analyst at Chick-fil-A Inc. in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Hoag of The Villages, Fla., Ms. Pat A. Munn of Ogallala, Neb., and Mr. Gary L. Bahnsen of Cheyenne, Wyo.
He is a 2010 graduate of Mill Creek High School in Hoschton. He graduated in 2014 from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree of science in industrial and systems engineering. He is employed as a consultant by Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta.
The couple plan to wed July 2, 2016, at Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville.
