Saturday’s performance features Mozart’s Serenade No. 13 in G Major from "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik," Elgar’s Serenade for Strings op 20 and Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings op 22.

Gessi’s appearance for the chamber orchestra concert is part of a reciprocal program in which GSO Music Director Gregory Pritchard will direct an orchestra in Italy later this year.

A reception will follow Saturday’s concert.
