The SuperNova Concert Series at Piedmont College will present Katie Timm, a newcomer to the national concert scene, in a recital of classic organ music at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, in the Demorest College chapel. The SuperNova series showcases talented musicians who are at the beginning stages of their professional careers. Timm will perform works from the 17th to the 20th century by Nickolaus Bruhns, Johann Sebastian Bach, Jehan Alain, Hugo Distler, Calvin Hampton, Max Reger and Charles-Marie Widor.
