Motorcycle ride to raise funds for injured Marine Sean Adams
Sean Adams poses for a photo with a couple of sockeye salmon he caught on a trip to Alaska. The Georgia’s Wounded Vet Run is helping sponsor a fundraiser for Adams in Buford.

Almost four years ago, 2011 Chestatee High School graduate Sean Adams was serving in Afghanistan when he stepped on an improvised explosive device. The U.S. Marine lost his legs, and his hands were damaged.

To help with his march forward in life, a fundraiser is being held in his honor at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the American Legion Post 127 in Buford.

It will include a motorcycle ride beginning and ending at 2640 Sawnee Ave. in Buford. The ride will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Lunch and breakfast can be purchased. Entertainment will be provided.

Participants also may meet the Saluting Soldier from Rolling Thunder as well as Adams.
