The Friends of Hall County Library is holding its annual book sale at the downtown Gainesville Library from 1-4 p.m. Sept. 19-20.

Thousands of fiction, nonfiction and children’s books will be on sale. Hardbacks sell for $1 and paperbacks for 50 cents.

Proceeds will help Friends of the Library raise funds to support programs that add to the cultural and educational life of the community.
