Halloween fun without focusing on witches, wizards, goblins and demons is the name of the game for some area churches. Instead of Halloween parties, a couple of area churches will hold fall festivals as an alternative to the secular celebration of the dead. St. Mary and Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church will have a festival with crafts, food, barbecue, music, quilt show and face painting.
