Don Kennedy died the other day. For folks now in their mid 50s and growing up in the Atlanta area, he was Officer Don, host of “The Popeye Club.” The club was an afternoon combination of silly games and Popeye cartoons. I can remember coming home from school, getting a snack and then it was time to warm up the TV and watch Officer Don.
