High school wrestling: North Hall sends three wrestlers to traditional state championship bouts

The North Hall wrestling team has three athletes who have advanced to the championship round of the traditional state championship Friday in Macon. After Day 2, the Trojans were in second place (165.5) in Class 3A behind Sonoraville (174). 

Advancing to the championship for North Hall were Jacob Pedraza (120 pounds), Cody Smith (145) and Dalton Battle (152). Dawson Thompson (106), Christian Contreras (113), Damon Campbell (138), Hunter Adams (170), Logan Hawthorne (182) and Seth Carlton (220) are all wrestling for third place for the Trojans. 

The finals and consolation finals are today at the Macon Coliseum.
