North Hall cross country team gets first-place finish on boys and girls sides to win Hall County Championship meet

The North Hall High cross country teams had the top individual finisher in both races to win the Hall County championships on Thursday at the North Hall Community Center. 

Andrew Jones won the boys race for the Trojans with a time of 16 minutes, 38 seconds, while Caylee Wagner won the girls race (19.56).

North Hall’s boys (35 points) finished ahead of second-place Flowery Branch (66) and third-place Johnson (91).

In the girls’ race the Lady Trojans had 37 points, followed by second-place Cherokee Bluff (45) and third-place Chestatee (73).

Also with a big day for the North Hall boys were third-place Noah Wagner (17:35) and fourth-place Bryce Hartis (17:51). Chestatee’s Luke Gaddis finished second overall (16:55). 

The Lady Trojans had four of the top 10 individual runners, including seventh-place Elissa Oliver (23:22), eighth-place Ella Randall Lee (23:26) and 10th-overall Kinsley Kirby (23:57). Third place in the girls Adison Myers (21:53) and fourth-place Sierra Wainer (22:37) are both from Cherokee Bluff. Flowery Branch's Bella Brick took second overall.
