East Hall senior Sada Wheeler and Chestatee senior Parker Smith were recently selected to play in the 2008 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Senior All-Star game Mar. 30 at Savannah State University.
Wheeler, a 6-foot-3 center and University of South Carolina signee, is averaging 17.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game for the Lady Vikings.
Smith, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard and Tennessee State signee, is scoring 35.5 points per game for Chestatee.
Both players were named to the North All-Stars, whose girls will be coached by South Gwinnett’s Mike Allison, while the boys will be coached by Jefferson’s Bolling DuBose.
The girls game will be played at 2 p.m., with the boys game to follow.
