White County’s newest baseball and softball head coaches will have a local legend in their dugouts this fall. Jim Bartlett and Drew Owens will begin this school year, their first season leading the Warriors’ baseball and softball programs, respectively, with former Truett-McConnell coach Jim Waits helping out as an assistant for both teams. “When I got the job, I knew that having Jim on staff would be a valuable asset,” said Barlett, who served as an assistant coach at White County High the past two seasons.
