Behind 15 points from Dorreka Faulkner and 12 from Symone Hampton, the Lady Vikings improved their win streak to five games with an 86-43 win over Lumpkin County on Saturday at East Hall High.

East Hall (14-6, 5-1 Region 7B-AAA) exploded for 32 points in the fourth quarter and had 13 different scorers.

Ashley Brown led the Lady Indians with a game-high 26 points.

East Hall (14-6, 5-1 Region 7B-AAA) visits Flowery Branch at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Chestatee girls 65, Atlanta International 27

Chelsea Wilson scored 13 points and Peyton Robertson added 10 in the Lady War Eagles win Saturday at Chestatee High.

Shelby Bright added eight points for Chestatee (13-7, 7-1 Region 7A-AAA).

The Lady War Eagles play host to Pickens at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

WRESTLING

West Hall places fifth

Tanner Yates placed second and Omar Lopez and Logan Herford finished in third place to lead the Spartans to a fifth-place finish at the Bowdon Invitational in Carroll County.

Yates (112 pounds), Lopez (103) and Herford (119) each recorded two pins.

Rudy Valquez (145) led the team with four pins. Valquez and Diego Rivero (135) placed fourth.

West Hall will take part in the Area 7-AAA individual tournament next weekend at West Forsyth.
