North Hall falls to Crisp County, 41-3, in second round of football playoffs

North Hall’s bid for its second road playoff win in school history came up short, losing to No. 6 Crisp County 41-3 on Friday in Cordele. The Trojans fell behind in the second-round contest in Class 3A by four touchdowns at halftime. Tate Brooks had the longest play of the game for North Hall with a 33-yard carry on the first play of the second quarter.

Jacob Dickey had a game-high 75 yards on the ground for the Trojans. Luke Brown made a 40-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter for North Hall. 

The Trojans (8-4) made the second round of the Class 3A playoffs after edging Lovett, 24-21, on Nov. 15 at Lynn Cottrell Stadium. 

With the loss, the Trojans’ season is now finished. 

Crisp County (9-3) advances to face Jefferson in the state quarterfinals next Friday.
