Towns County posted its first victory of the season Friday, beating North Cobb Christian 33-6 in Hiawassee.

Wesley Bloodworth had runs of 1 and 4 yards for the Indians. Jackson Noblet also had touchdowns on two 19-yard runs.

Towns County’s Noah Calhoun recorded a 72-yard touchdown run to close out the second half.

The Indians (1-5) have the week off before traveling to Woodstock to face River Ridge.
