Banks County rides sharp Steeple past Johnson, 27-14

Zezmon Steeple had two receiving touchdowns as Banks County beat Johnson 27-14 on Friday night at Billy Ellis Memorial Stadium in Oakwood.

Steeple had over 100 yards receiving with quarterback Griffin Goodwin going 8-for-9 passing for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

Sophomore running back Clayton Dykehouse had 122 rushing yards and a touchdown. Senior Trevae Cain had 30 rushing yards on offense and over 10 tackles and a fumble return touchdown on defense.

Banks County (1-1) visits East Jackson 7:30 p.m. next Friday night, while Johnson (1-2) hosts Lumpkin County 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
