Letter: Anti-Trump crowd distracts from real work of government

The anti-Trump movement members should take a hard look at their leaders.

The big noise, and little else, is Adam Schiff who claimed he had "hard evidence" of Trump collusion with Russia to destroy Hilary Clinton's run for president.

The House of Representatives then spent two years and countless millions investigating only to find that Schiff lied. There was no collusion.

Fast forward to now. There is no evidence of Trump misdeeds with Ukraine. There was no quid pro quo.

On the contrary, it appears that the Bidens managed to get their hands on millions from Ukraine.  The DOJ rightfully is conducting that investigation. The so-called whistleblower, we now find, had his documents prepared by Adam Schiff and friends. Schiff earlier claimed he had no contact with the whistleblower — another lie.

The Democrats daily scream "impeach Trump, impeach Trump" when there is only a steady stream of lies from Schiff and fellow committee leaders whose single purpose is to keep the House of Representatives from passing any meaningful legislation.

In the end, Trump is guilty of no high crimes and misdemeanors, which according to our Constitution is the foundation for impeachment.

And, as this goes on and on, the House of Representatives is totally negligent in performing the work for which they were elected. This is Democrat Party leadership.
