Both westbound lanes of Dawsonville Highway are closed in the 2100 block due to an incident involving a dump truck that has rolled over, according to Keith Smith, spokesman for the Gainesville Fire Department.

"There is one person being transported, non-emergency, to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center," Smith wrote in an email.

The Gainesville Police Department is working with a wrecker service to clear the roadway, but Smith reported that "may take a while." Traffic just before 9:30 a.m. was backed up to the Lake Lanier Club Apartments.
